
Uplifting, refreshing and fortifying. Yuzu is a citrus fruit which resembles a small orange, and the oil is obtained by cold expression of the rind. The fragrance of Yuzu is reminiscent of both Grapefruit and Mandarin, with subtle overtones of both Bergamot and Lime.
It has a very dry, tangy quality whilst producing an almost floral note that is very appealing.
The properties of Yuzu oil are very similar to those of Bergamot, and it excels when used with cases of everyday stress and burn-out where it imparts a stabilising, strengthening and energising effect.
Yuzu is grown in Japan and has been used in their traditional herbal medicines for thousands of years as a panacea for almost everything.
Only by using essential oils of the very highest quality and purity can you be sure to achieve text-book results.
Although cheaper essential oils may appear to save you money in the short term, eventually they work out to be far more costly.
This is because you will have to use much larger quantities of them in an attempt to get results. Unless they are pure, unadulterated and therapeutically active they will never deliver the results that you have read about in books.
