Delivery Schedule
Rest assured when you place an order it will be processed in a speedy, efficient and professional manner throughout. Because Quinessence have over 20 years experience in distributing aromatherapy products on a global basis, you couldn't be in safer hands.
From the time of receiving your order we aim to have it processed and ready for dispatch as quickly as possible, which is typically within 2 working days, although just before and just after public holidays this may become 3 days due to the increase in demand.
How long it takes for your order to arrive after dispatch depends on the distance you live from the United Kingdom, and the efficiency of your country's internal mail network.
As long as the address details you supplied with your order were complete and correct, deliveries should normally take:
- United Kingdom - 2 to 4 business days after dispatch
- Europe - 4 to 6 business days after dispatch
- Rest of the World - 12 to 15 business days after dispatch
Please note - during the lead up to, and just after holiday periods, mail traffic inevitably slows down or is delayed so bear this in mind if you are placing an order just before Christmas, Easter or a Public Holiday.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5pm via Royal Mail or by one of our Carrier Services which both require a signature of receipt. If you will not be at home please provide an alternative delivery address where there will be somebody available to sign for delivery. To do this simply fill out the details in the 'Delivery Address' box at the Checkout stage. Please note that we are unable to deliver to PO Box numbers.
If you are not at home the courier will leave a card for you to re-arrange delivery. You can then call your local depot to arrange an alternative delivery time which is convenient to you. If you fail to contact them to arrange re-delivery your parcel will be returned to Quinessence as undeliverable. Should your parcel be returned to us, there would be a delivery charge to re-send your order.
Please note that Carriers do not deliver on a weekend without charging a premium for this service. We strongly recommend that you propose an address where there will always be someone present to sign for the delivery - such as a works or neighbours address.
